Uh Hiya, I'm Archer, a guy that Shade knows in real life, we go to the same college. Right, so I'm going to be honest, with all the respect in the world; You are really quite bad at drawing, there is so little effort put into what you're making on this account it is actually outstanding to me. Your obsession with abusing MS paint's straight line tool suggests it does more of the work in these drawings than you do, there isn't any effort being put into your work when you use straightening tools to achieve it. It doesn't even look like you're trying, it looks like something you drum up in a couple seconds without thought, then use the bucket-fill tool to color for you. There is no shading (Ironically), no background work, no sense of perspective, none of the allegedly human creatures look even close to people. There's no sign of aging, marks on their skin, lines under the eyes, details around their irises. No clothes have creases, none of the horses look like they're a creature that would actually have fur, or mains, or any actual detail. They all just look like massive walking rectangles filled in with one solid color, casting no shadows, and having no impact on their environment.

There's a paint tool called SAI, I highly recommend you look into it. It's what people who make actual art and post it online use, instead of MS Paint. Why? Because you can actually add detail with it. There's not just fill tools, and different sizes of brushes. At the very least pick up paint.net and start from the ground up with pixel art. Try using references where possible, because if we were to take your joker drawing as an example, one would think you've never seen a human being before. I'm going to stop for a moment to say that all of this is intended to be helpful, and I really don't mean to be malicious with any of this, it's simply since the only people who comment on your posts are clearly friends that are trying to avoid hurting your feelings. And make no mistake so am I, but I think you really need some practice drawing. If I were you, I'd start drawing with a pencil and paper, using a lot of references trying to build to such a point where displaying it publicly becomes something you'll be proud of... Rather than what we have at the moment.

Sidebar: Multi-colored words on a black background are not art... I-I seriously cannot believe that I had to write that down.

There is almost no effort placed in making these entities look as if they exist in three dimensional space. None of them look to be anything other than lines, loosely connected with one another instead of a cohesive whole. Your detailing on eyes and faces in particular have this effect. Here's a suggestion: Animals and Humans are what many artists struggle with the most when starting out, like you are. I'd recommend taking static objects and sketching the shape of them. Basically doodle, then work your way up. These don't need to be posted anywhere, because early work tends to be the least polished. Your first work doesn't need to be perfect, but I also wouldn't recommend posting them online, because then you're being judged next to people who have been doing this for years, professionals. And as someone starting out, that doesn't seem fair to you in the slightest.

Now, something else worth addressing. Have you ever dealt with mental health issues, Shade? Have you ever walked out of a psychiatrist's office with a sheet of paper that deems you some lengthy word that amalgamates to you being deemed fundamentally broken? When you have a mental health issue, you know what the last thing on earth you want people calling you is? Insane, crazy, mad, etcetera. So when I read over you claiming the largest part of your personality is "madness" I can't help but feel sort of insulted as you deem yourself crazy, and romanticize the horrors that people go through every day of their lives. It feels childish when I read over a post of yours that claims you're displaying schizophrenic symptoms with "hearing voices" because having spoke to you, I know that, with respect, that's you trying to sound cool.

I really don't want you to take any of this the wrong way, I just thought I'd get a few notes out quickly. Just things I thought might help, apologies if I sounded aggressive in any of that. I really don't want to come across as if I was insulting you personally. I was merely criticizing your work, which is something all budding artists have to deal with.
Yeah I'm going to have to side with this guy here.
